Did anyone ever find a solution to the Facebook app if the app no longer update contact photos integrated from your contacts and your fb friends? I have the option checked so it can update contact pictures and profile with my contacts but it is no longer doing it. How often do the app suppose to change profile pictures with the contacts in your phone?
I'm running version 1.9 and it only pushed notifications and updates at initial app install/launch. Hasn't done so since. It seems RIM's 'native' FB app is very buggy. Some people can't seem to get notifications and updates to work, and some can't get them to stop. Wish they'd fix it!
I'm looking for an answer to this myself. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I've tried unchecking and checking the option to update. NOTHING. I have NO contact photos. I swear, these little things are annoying!
