I can't manage to download the Facebook app installer on my BBBold, the link is "broken" according to the BB downloading homepage..
Am I the only one to get this problem?

they've been having alot of problems with the app so hopefully they are fixing it

IMHO compared to the FB app that the IPhone has, the BB one is a POS. It is pretty much useless and as about as in-depth as a blonde in a bar at 2am.

are you using "blackberry.com/facebook" ? That's the one I used to download the app and I haven't had any issues.

Same problem as when I hit the download section to download Fbook.

mine is broken...doesnt ever send update alerts to the phone anymore....so i would say that web signaling has issues.

What happened was rim updated fb to 1.3 but within hours they removed it for some reason and they never got back to putting fb 1.2. As of this morning the download was working

same for me, never had any problem, and get upadte every time...

some time it bugs once in a while and i just do a battery pull off and it work right away

I had installed 1.3 but wasn't receiving any alerts so I uninstalled it. I just downloaded v1.2 about an hour ago and the link was working.

Turn notifications back on in facebook web in ur account settings. 1.3 somehow disables them

Where can i find 1.3.0 i only can find 1.2.0
is there an option to look for updates of all your apps.
Do i need to uninstall the old once and then reboot and install the new once or can i just re install the newer versions?

I ran into the same issue yesterday. They were having problems with the site. Eventually it worked, after numerous tries yesterday. Good luck!

On several magazines they announced the version 1.3.0 but i downloaded yesterday from mobile.blackberry.com/facebook and got 1.2.0.
Is there an option to check updates for all apps.

I still have FB 1.2 but the notifications and Messages are not being pushed onto the device anymore.

Go on facebook and turn the notifications on cause sometimes when i install FB app it turn off the notifications. After it should work again.

Same issue here. No notifications or updates. I didnt download 1.3 so not sure why this is happening. I did a battery pull and even went to facebook and checked on the notification settings. All looks the same as 2 days ago when the issues started. Any advice?

Everyone is having issues with Facebook regardless of the version you are using. The notifications are hit and miss...sometimes they come thru and somestimes they dont.

A couple days ago they put v1.3 on the Blackberry website but within a few hours they took it down and put v1.2 back up. I upgraded to v1.3 but did not notice any difference. Since my notifications still were hit and miss I uninstalled v1.3 and went back to v1.2. Status is still the same. Hopefully they will get it worked out in the near future.

V 1.3 is no longer on the website to download. V 1.3 did not solve the problem anyway.
