I just downloaded the new facebook version 1.7 for my 8350i, and its not letting me in because it tells me i don't have a working data service.

Im guessing the new version requires BIS/BES am i right?

If anyone has some bright ideas on how to find a way around this, im all ears. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

if it requires BIS or BES, then NO booster will be able to update.

I tried the download and it won't let me in now. I tried to deletethe 1.7 and tried to re install and it says it doesnt support my phone.. Not sure what is going on now. Anyone get the same message?

p.s. i also upgraded my os to 5.0.216, load of rubbish if u ask me... doesnt look as good as the others and also u cant change the layout for text messages... OR am i being stupid???

I have tried to reinstall 1.6 over & over but cannot find it on my phone. Below is the zip for Facebook 1.6, its listed in applications under options but nowhere else on phone. I do see a file when i goto media then explore>media card>blackberry it has a folder named Facebook when i open it file named Diskmap_0.0.0.dat 3kb
Any ideas?

yeah Delrahim69 I'm having the same problem as you. I upgraded to 5.0 and when I went to reinstall its says loaded successfully, but I cant find it except for that diskmap file.

Someone please help!@!@!@! 1.7 doesnt work with boostberry, only 1.6 does.
