Up until about 2 days ago, I never once recieved a facebook alert. I was sleeping one night and heard a sound my phone hasn't ever made. Picked it up and sure enough it was an FB Alert!!! I was pretty amazed. The only thing I know i did was open the app, and instead of hitting END I actually Closed the app. Does it have to be closed before you'll recieve alerts? I'm clueless as to why I could never get this to work before!!!!!
Ya the facebook app from the past with me had to be running I know with the new one though I've been able to close the app and it still works try upgrading
