    Also I know this kinda of prob stupid question but has anyone tried to load the software on directly from one of their third party backups. I would try it but at work still.

    The icons you're all seeing are OTA links to the install pages of Facebook. If you click it, you'll be taken to a website where you press "Agree/Disagree" and download the actual app. Which ends up not working on any build of 5.0.

    Word is that Facebook 1.7 will be 5.0 compatible.

    I loaded Snaptu last night. Its not to bad to use for facebook. You can add some other links to it too. Kinda of a toss up between that and just using the mobile site for facebook. I for one am NOT impressed with the way facebook hs been handled for the berry world.
