Hey guys, I'm new to this and I was just wondering if anyone could help me out. I set my preferences on the actual Facebook site so that my email doesnt get notifications, but this stopped my phone from receiving them too. Is there any way to fix this?

Have you set up your FB to send you SMS notifications? This will text ya any time someone comments, posts on your wall, etc.

You can customize this in the "Account Settings/ Mobile" section of your FB account.

i was referring more to the actually facebook application on the tour because thats where notifications used to be sent to

You can change it back to send email notifications to your email, then go into the fb app and make sure you choose that same email on your phone as the email to use for the app. Go back to options and uncheck the box in the options that says "Leave email notification messages on mail server". This will get your fb app to receive notifications but will not have them in your email box.
