Anyone else have this problem. I can't figure out what causes it, but from time to time when I press the escape key to go back one page or back to the main menu from messages, it brings up the switch application menu. Like if you were to hold down the menu button. After a battery pull it goes back to working fine for a period of time where I hit the escape key and it works the way I know it should by going back one page.
    Please help.

common bug in the original os. If you have a 9900, the 440 update fixes. If its a 9930, the 374 Verizon update fixes.

    Been discussed many times:

As Kjjn0204 said, updating to the latest OS will fix the issue. In the meantime, whenever it happens just lock and unlock the device using the button at the top of the phone. That should take care of it.

Only fix is to install the 374 os from verizon on your sprint 9930. That will do the trick.
