I got an email from Amazon telling me their shopping app won't work anymore and to download a new and improved app.

Well, as we all could predict, the download page is for iOS and Android only.

So long, Amazon app! *eyeroll*

Thread title tweaked and thread moved from Bold 9900 Forum to BBOS Apps Forum where it belongs as it's not specific to the Bold device.

That's a shame. Have you searched BB World for "Amazon" to check if there are any third party Amazon app clients?
(I won't have access to my last functioning 9900 until tomorrow so I can't check right now.)

Doesn't help you on you Bold, but just FYI: Amazon's Android app works perfectly on BB10 devices. It's even coming pre-installed as of the upcoming OS 10.3.2 update. There are also several functional native BB10 clients, such as Search for Amazon by S4BB, which ma me curious if there are any BBOS clients too.

I took a peek through my 9900's app world (I always used amazon via the browser and website). Looks like not only has the official Amazon app been pulled, but the 3rd party apps are non-existent... Just Launchers and clocks...




I then went to amazon.com/bb and even the listed apps from there:
