I like Engadget's BB app but if I forget and leave it running in the background it will drain my battery in a 2-3 hours and the phone get very warm. Not sure what it's doing that would cause this. Anyone else seen this behavior?

I looked for an engadget app and nothing came up...am I missing something? lol.
I saw on a youtube video a tip: hold the BB button down on the home screen and running apps come up in a box, swipe left or right to see what is running in the background, and close the app.
This drove me nuts last week when I picked up the phone. I came from a Droid and I was used to task killers and the like and was looking here and on youtube for battery saving tips, hope this helps.
I'm glad someone else notice this too!
It happened to me twice including last night when I dozed off while reading the articles. When I woke up, my blackberry's batt was flat out!
I searched the net and no one else has discuss about it.
Not really. I installed it the day it was released and uninstalled it the same day. It offers nothing more than viewing the mobile site really. If you insist on downloading it you can get it here
