Yep, I have that app. It is one of my favorites! I almost cry when I bought it because it is soooo expensive, but it's what I needed so I got it. So far I'm pleased with it. The only thing I don't like is that when you have a SMS and read it from the app you still have to go to the native SMS inbox and delete it and viceversa. IMO is worth the money.:)
I took a good look at it on the vendors web-site and decided to bite the bullet and get it, I paid I think 19 for it on Handango.Co.UK and from what I have seen of it I would say it is worth EVERY penny! Know what ya mean about the deleting of SMS's though, bit irritating!!
It was actually so annoying that I don't have SMS in my settings anymore and now I'm happy.
Wonder if it is something that will be fixed in future versions?
This app is the only app I've run across that really competes w/PocketDay. I've used both and I prefer PD mostly b/c it comes with a weather w/o extra cost, seems that development is a bit more mature, and PD addresses the primary issue I have with these apps -- not being able to replace the home screen so I don't have to "start" the app each time I pick up my BB its "just there". PD uses a work around that brings it to the forefront after x minutes. I do think that this app has better eye-candy than PD and I prefer its collapsible tasks layout. I never quite understood the contacts view - just me perhaps.
Does this app contain the full version of the emobile task pro? Do you know?
No that is an additional app..
In the end I uninstalled it, took up too much space (my FILE FREE went up by 5000 after uninstallation)
It was laggy on my Bold, and it didn't work with Aerize Alerts, or Peek-A-Who. I didn't get the hype — plus, when I tried to remove it, it wouldn't go away. I had to do a hard reset.
Peek-A-Who was more important for me to keep.
I bought it half price, but didn't think that was worth the effort either, have now deleted it, there are better apps for free!
Odd, that was one of the selling points for me. It has it's own pop-up
notifier. No additional app needed
Which version did you ladies have. The 5.0 update is head and shoulders
above the previous iterations. Definitely one of my "must have" apps
along with 5 (five) other eMobile apps
The 5.0 on my 9700 only bought it a week or so ago, got rid of it already, seemed to drain my battery too, as soon as i deleted had double the amount, go figure..
Anybody know if this app has a missed call/email/sms feature? And when you say drained your battery how often do your normally have to charge your BB, I just automatically plug mine in every night?
I've used this app for at least a year and I also think it's one of the "must-have" apps out there.
The main screen has options including missed calls, new e-mails, and sms along with contacts and appointments. It's a fantastic app that takes some time to figure out the "ins and outs" of it. It also has app shortcuts along with weather, stocks, and news add-ons that work great.
There is no noticeable drain on battery and not much drain on daily memory other than it is a big file (3.0 mb).
Thanks, I am really excited about this app! (Keeping my fingers crossed)
