Just for kicks, I decided to throw some of George Carlin's 7 words you can't say on tv at the Dragon e-mail dictation app. Some it (I think deliberately) misinterpreted, but certain well-known colorful metaphors were transcribed with asterisks subbing for some of the letters (like that makes it less offensive, somehow...). This saddens and amuses me a bit. Why bother censoring the words when Dragon obviously put them in the lexicon? It's a ridiculous bit of political correctness that really just shouldn't be foisted on consumers. Why are some clearly misinterpreted, while others are recognized? I call shenanigans on Big Brother. I'd end with a witty comment, but I can't ******* think of one at the moment.
