I am a college student on a tight budget, so for the time being I am suspending my Verizon account and going with a local provider. That way I don't have to pay the extra $30/month for data for my storm. I know I can't access internet from my phone now, but I want to continue getting apps. Is it possible to download an app onto my computer from say, crackberry app store and then transfer it to my storm via usb?

How? I tried downloading a free app from crackberry app store, then through desktop manager browsed for the app to transfer it but it said does not recognize app
