I went from OS 5.0.0.857 to Sprints OS 6.0.0.415 and a few apps doubled up. I dont have the apps installed but its just weird that when I upgraded to .415 they doubled up. I thought maybe it was just from using Sprints OS but I did the upgrade to Verizons OS 6.0.0.431 and they are still doubled. Does anybody know why this happened or what I can do to do solve this?

If it were me i would wipe the blackberry with bbsak then install the os clean and download the apps manually and forget that problem ever existed, or you could just delete the duplicates everytime you install a new os.

Well the apps that are double aren't installed but its V cast apps and Visual Voice mail. I didn't know I could do away with these app installers?? I will try later today when I get time to wipe it clean.

I too have a duplicate V Cast Apps icon and I did the Verizon OTA update. No way to remove one?

And when I hide one V Cast icon, it automatically hides the other one too. Weird.
