    I just tried to open up a word file on my bb and it gives the error of:



    error starting wordtogo:clas'com.dataviz.commonDocsToGoApp Prefs$PrefsV1'multilply defined

    what do this mean and what can i do to correct it?

    have you went to the docs to go icon??? they have to be registered prior to using them. i believe thats what the error is in regards to. let me know cheers.

    i remember seeing the icon when i got the bb, but after i installed my 3rd party apps and did a restore, the icon was missing. is there any way to get it back?

    Check your Applications folder on the Applications screen.

    i checked there even selected to show all. its not there. even under the apllication list under options. nothing.

    You might try and wipe your device. Reinstall the OS .405. There are how-to's in these forums.

    There is also the option of calling technical support at AT&T who if they cannot help will transfer you to RIM. This is certainly less time-consuming that a device wipe, especially if you do not feel comfortable doing one.

    Connect to Desktop manager and make sure the Docs app is checked off for installation .
