Do I have this right? My wife and I both have Skype mobile on our BB's. If I am out of the country in Canada, my wife can call me on Skype as long as she is on the Verizon network??
I wouldn't be able to call her because I am not on Verizon in Canada??
Anyway.
Her calling you from her phone to your laptop. Yep.
You would need to be roaming and pay the roaming charges for data for her to call your phone.
IN the U.S., then you can call to any skype account worldwide for free.
OUTSIDE the U.S., you are charged based on the international rates for your calling plan
Within the U.S. you just have to call them on their skype account. If you call a regular telephone, then:
#s w/in the U.S. are billed against your calling plan
#s outside the U.S. can only be dialed if you setup Skype credit for international calls.
considering that VZW and Skype have the agreement, and VZW is a US network only, then yes. it doesnt work on wifi, and it wont work during international travel.
