Anyone tried to put the new Directv app on a Boostberry? I have tried downloading on my 8350i and it never finishes downloading and tried saving to PC to load by DM but no luck there either with the file type I guess? Anyone have any tips?

Where are you getting this app from? I checked the DirectTv web site and it says the blackberry version of the app is "coming soon"?

Could be why I couldnt find it. Says it "Requires an official OS release from your service provider". It loaded for me fine. I downgraded to .204 today what are you two running?

for the 8330 I have 4.5, but it was just updated to .186. Is that right? Still new to BB. I even set up a show to record this morning as a test and it worked as I had hoped it would. Very easy to use.

Also if I just save from the website on my pc and try to load it with DM it won't work as the jad file? Do I need to change it or something if doing it that way?

Finally got it to download. Using the same link from this site that I've tried several times before. Although now that I have the app it is so slow I might be better off to drive home and set the dvr myself! This and the trouble I had downloading it with my phone really makes me wonder if my wifi is actually running correctly on the phone. Strange the speeds don't seem like it most times.
