now im not too sure, but wouldn't it be possible for Rim or even someone with the proper technical knowledge (in the form of an app maybe) to supplement the app memory with the device memory? i mean if all its there for is the same thing the media card is there for, and all storms come with a media card, then really, who is gonna use the device memory anyways? i just think it would save a lot of trouble to put that near gb of memory to use...if possible.
I assume that it's just a virtual partition, meaning that more memory could be allocated with a software update. But then again, what in the h*ll do I know?
