I have the storm 9530. I am looking to download desktop manager. What is the difference between with media manager or not? Why would you use one and not the other?
The media manager is an application that you can use to organize, convert and transfer your music, videos or pictures over to your blackberry. The reason why many people don't use the media manager is that it can cause problems by not working properly and that you can just use mass storage mode instead of another application to transfer your media to your blackberry quicker.

Agreed. I originally used media manager but it was very slow and did not work properly, as mentioned above. Mass storage is so much quicker and convenient.
