If I removed my Yahoo instant messanger and Blackberry inst messanger would this hurt my BB?? Both those programs according to my apps folder suck up alot of memory space. Getting rid of those would be a great start. Maybe brickbreaker seeing as how I never play it.

    Thanks

If you don't use certain apps, you can remove them. In some cases, the items you may be looking at might be "installers" and not the actual application. But if you notice them taking up memory, then it is probaby the actual app. I removed Brickbreaker from my older 8830 and removed Tasks, BBMessenger, too.

The Pearl 8120 really benefits from a memory optimization.

This thread documents the process for removing samples and other memory wasting app.
