i have downloaded flickr and myspace but i dont really like it, so i went ahead and delete them off my phone, but the myspace icon and flickr icon still in my download folder for some reason, and thats not the actually program, how can i get rid of it?? thanks.
Sometimes a reset is required to complete the uninstall. If you already did that, then try connecting it with DM and removing the apps through DM.
Were the icons on the phone when you got it? If so then they will just be there. They're not taking up memory and you can hide them.
i have already reset the phone but still there... it didn't come with flickr and myspace.. but it's the same type of icon like msn, yahoo messenger.. when you click in it, it'll ask u to download.
by reset do you mean soft reset or hard reset?
I usually take out the battery if something like this happens.
the old pull the battery out trick, work like a charm :D

Go to options > Advanced > Applications and see if they are there. If so, delete them from there...

Sounds like you have the downloaded install programs. You should be able to just highlight them and select delete from the menu.
i dont know but there's no options for me to delete it, its in my Downloads folder
Mdma - Rogers has sent these icons out to our phones. When I first got my Bold, I didn't have them in my download folder. One day - not much more than a week or so ago - they just magically appeared out of nowhere. I have never used flickr or myspace and never will. I would like to delete the icons but they can't be deleted. Annoying not to be able to control what's on your device but they don't take up memory.
