I just got my bold yesterday and am enjoying quite a bit.

I was playing around with the weather setup and subscribed to the weather network yesterday. Today, I saw that it has yet to update itself (at least 16 hours already), I decided to unsubscribe form the weather network and subscribe to accuweather to see if its any better.

Upon finishing unsubscribing from the weather network, my blackberry said that to finish deleting the proper channels, I have to go to Browser Bookmarks > Browser Channels and delete the appropriate channels. I did that and deleted the one and only one there. It read the forecast that was exactly the same as if I had the icon selected.

Upon deleting it, the icon is now gone. Is there a way to get this default icon back?

I tried subscribing to accuweather web signal and I went through the weather setup again and subscribed to accuweather. Both times, I punched in my city, province, and canada and it said i should see an update shortly.

I tried subscribing a second time but accuweather keeps telling me I have to agree to the terms of service to continue although I clicked I agree

Will the icon come back when the push service updates my weather? Or is there a way to fix this?

Get weathereye or weatherbug in my opinon buddy, much better.

Plus the icon on your homescreen will update every 30mins.

I have tried weathereye and its not bad. But I like the default one better in a sense that right when you click on the icon, the 5 day forecast is there where as for weathereye, its not and you have to select it.

And for some reason that "Do you really want to exit" thing annoys me :P

That's a lot of deleting and installing. Do a battery pull and see what happens.

Hehe have to agree on that one, no idea why it asks you if you want to exit :P

Can't get weather bug to work as im in the UK,which is why i use weathereye but most of the people on this board from the states have it, may well have the option your looking for.

Ok, so I turned it off, pulled the battery, waited 30 secs, put the battery back in. It powered itself up and the that watch keeps ticking and then it boots up.

I checked the home screen and the downloads folder, and its there!

    Thank you very much

I jus use viigo for weather.. Its not too important to me to waste one of my quick launch icons for weather.. But this is my preference..
Although iv used weatherbug I prefer weather eye ..

I used the Accuweather pushed browser channel for the first month or so that I had my Bold but I'm now using Weatherbug. It's got better icons (imo), faster updating, more information available with fewer clicks through. I'd definitely suggest Weatherbug over any of the browser based ones.
