Last night's 100%-off coupon was working even though the app was already promo'd.

I don't know what to say, I can't cancel the promo since it was listed as going until the end of today, and I've done all I can do with the coupon. It's saved and shows 4 uses, so it's working for some people.

It's one of those apps you think you don't have a need for but you really do. No guessing if your phone is charged especially without glasses in the morning!

... and I'm sorry it's not as smooth as (well, you wouldn't know but) earlier versions were because of the addition of 3D-rendered graphics. I'm working on rewriting the rendering loop to get back to film-like rate without dropped frames.

For now, and it says this in the settings page too, I recommend avoiding the Smile Dial on slower devices. The main problem, I think, is that many BlackBerries have crippled CPU's that can't do division internally, and it's kind of hard to do graphics without division, so I have to use it and it's slow because implemented in software instead of hardware. Even the original Apple had hardware division, but someone at RIM decided to save a penny and eliminate division.

ya not familiar with orginal versions but i dont have any complaints with the graphics this app has, and it seems to run very smooth too

The original had a different smiley that I thought was fun but that apparently scared some young children, so now he looks more kid-friendly but sure takes longer to draw

I downloaded this last night and I love the look of it. It's great to know where my battery really stands instead of just guessing. It would be nice to be able to add a user wallpaper, but that's no biggie. Thanks for the free copy!
