    this thread is not about changing your signal strength from bars to displaying it in decibels. That shortcut is alt+NMLL.

    This thread is a request for someone to build a sound pressure level decibel meter for blackberries. As a live sound engineer, I would greatly use this product. It is not to much surprise that there is not one out yet for 7.0 and my 9930, but if there is a reason one cannot be made, please reply and enlighten me. I remember reading a year or so ago, that the CDMA devices were not compatible with programs needed to run such DBSPL meters. Please someone out there make an app. I will buy it.

    Even if an App existed, I would think you'd have better luck with a cheap Radio Shack meter, as far as accuracy is concerned. It would be a very crude reading.

    Ohhh, I got ya. I thought you meant to take the reading itself. But just an App to display the gathered data.

    Yeah, that would be neat. For sure.
