Ok, heres the story -

Brought the BB 2nd hand. Im on a sim only deal so phoned up, got the package set p and they said it was fine.

Using the net for a month and the bill comes back at �66 because apprently you cant do net on sim only so I took it off.

Now, on wifi, I cant use my msn, facebook, app store etc, only browser. How can I get it to work?

Phone needs a BIS account. Certain apps needs to have the internet to work, and won't work over Wi-Fi.

msn, facebook chat - u can install palringo, it is free and works over wifi
facebook - use ur hotspot browser and point it to m.facebook.com or x.facebook.com
app store - sorry, u need BIS for this

BIS for me costs �2.50 a month, to be honest, it's well worth it.

mate, that happened to me, i brought my bold unlocked from thailand and i put my o2 sim in and thats what happened. So, i went to o2 and got the simplicity sim for only �20 a month and i get 600mins&600texts and "unlimited blackberry" which allows you to use apps on blackberry.
