A tool to create OTAs (.jad) and/or Desktop Installers (.alx) for apps of your choice.

    Create-A-JAD Download

    Instructions
    1. Enter information requested (All are required except for description)
    2. Drag and drop all the files needed for your app install into the white box under Files.
    3. If you haven't already, enter the filename (no extension) and choose what type of install you need: .JAD is for OTA, .ALX is for Desktop Install, and Both does both of them.
    4. Click Create It!
    5. Enjoy your new OTA/Desktop Install!

Get Your OTA Up and Running
    1) Upload all .cods required, the .jad, and the .htaccess file created to your webspace
    2) Go to the link to your .jad file from your phone
    3) Install away!

    To Use In Desktop Install
    1) Copy and paste the created .alx file in your OS's folder (ie. 9530-v4.7.0.167_P4.0.0.205)
    2) Copy and paste the .cod files into the Java folder (if you checked that box when creating the .alx) or into the same OS folder as step 1 (if you left the checkbox unchecked)
    3) Install using AppLoader (Loader.exe) or Desktop Manager

    To Use JavaLoader.exe Install
    1) Put created .bat file, JavaLoader.exe (autodownloads), and the .cods into the same folder
    2) Plug in phone and run the .bat file

Sounds like a great app. This would save me some time from having to manually make these files on my own.

Give me example of how you guys would you this. Thx.
    Heres a quick example:

You have files a.cod and b.cod for App X
Enter all the info for App X, then go to where those two files are on your computer
Highlight both, drag and drop them into the white box that says "Drag and Drop .COD Files Here"
Choose whether or not you want a .jad (For OTAs) a .alx (For Desktop Installs) or both
    click Create It!
and inside the folder where the Create-A-JAD.exe is there should pop out whatever type(s) you asked for

I will make a tutorial video shortly, just gotta reinstall the program for it

This could be a great way to reload some programs remotely if you create the jad file and associated files and place them on you own web page and then create a link to that page in your browser or home page. This summer when I was in Europe I was concerned about losing things since I had no computer with me. This would have been handy.

    Thanks a bunch

I am getting an error trying to download your app.

Why can't you attach the link to this forum instead of having to register on another forum?

I currently have a COD file, which is the theme. If I unzip the COD file I am able to get 8 different files from within it, which makes up the theme. however, when creating a JAD using your program to upload this to my phone, everything goes perfectly fine. I am able to install onto my phone, BUT the theme doesn't show up under themes. Instead, it only shows up under my Applications.

im on 5.0.0.314 (8900) and for some reason, it doesnt wanna install facebook 1.7.0.18, it prefers the newer crappier version 1.7.0.22. I am trying to make my own .jad file to be able to do OTA. But i dont have a webspace. Anyone know of a way to get this done ?

You can also try MyBBOTA.com > Home to make jads or a general ota link. That way you don't need to download any extra programs or worry about webspace

Lyric - Revivng the dead here for a good reason. I know you posted at one time how to take an OTA download - extract all the files to .alx and wrap it into an executable (.exe). Could you repost that guide either here or at theiexplorers site?
