Ok,
I have googled a countdown timer for my new Curve 8330 and I cannot find one. Does anyone know of one? I need it so I know when to go switch my laundry from the washer to the dryer and when the dryer is done.

Too funny - me too! I was doing my laundry, and wishing that my 8330 had a countdown timer. I found your thread, saw the references to Chronograph (thanks CannonBball and mscooley!), installed it, and now I will be informed when I should take my stuff out of the dryer in 45 minutes LOL! Awesome!

I don't think that could be any simpler LOL! No control over tones or volume - no options at all LOL!. BUT it is fairly loud, which is good.

I also have Chronograph installed which has a lot more options, but I can't get the volume anywhere near loud enough.

So out of these two free apps, Buzzer it may be!

It's not free, but I wrote TimeForTea as a tea timer and countdown timer. It's specifically for BlackBerries, so you can customize its notification using the standard BB profiles editor.

there is one on the storm, maybe they will release that functionality with an OS update in the future for other devices. i use mine when i water the grass and grill steaks.
