Just 2 questions - when exactly is the best time to charge my storm 2 for optimal battery life and performance and apart from the firmware, what else gets stored in application memory?

I charge to 100% within a couple of hours of putting it on the USB cable on my MBP around 9pm. It comes off the charger and serves as my alarm clock in the morning. I typically don't have to charge during the day, but if I'm under very heavy usage I might through it on the charger for 30 minutes or so. LiIon batteries don't have memory issues like NiCads did, so you don't need to drain it before you recharge.

Add-On, Core, and 3rd party apps. App data (messages, sms, browser cache...) pretty much everything but photos and media you specifically direct to the SD card, are stored in memory.

I just leave mine on the charger overnight, use it all day, then charge at night again.

Thanks for the replies. How long does your battery charge last before it is in the red?
