First I would like to apologize if this is not the correct forum for this question. Secondly I have googled my question and did not find the answer. I found this
Change a contact's display picture but step 5 is a no go.

I have the version 6.0.0.129.

What I want to do is change the profile pictures of some of my bbm contacts.

Make sure in BBM options that Replace blackberry contact pictures with bbm pictures is unchecked.

Add your BBM contact to your address book if not already done ... change the display pic in your address book and that should be the new bbm pic, as long as the bbm contact is linked to the address book contact.
