    I am on o2 uk with a 8310 fully registered with a service plan but most of my aps that need to connect to the internet keep telling em i need to upgrade my service plan to include data i have re registered 3 times and it still doesn't work i have wiped and restored still doesn't work although i can still use the web browser to access the internet can anyone please help

    I don't know much about service in the UK, but I'd imagine you could contact your service provider and see if they have an answer for you.

    Could possibly be registered with just a basic service plan and not a blackberry/bis service plan. So you not on the blackberry server, I had the same problem with att when I upgraded to my curve. Internet works but none of the programs would so I had to get the bb plan($$) but now I'm really happy with it, so all is good.

    Do you have your carriers APN settings in Options > Advanced Options > TCP/IP??

    Do you have a blackberry data plan? Not a generic data plan.

    Next to your signal meter do you have a 1x or a 1X? The big X means you are able to send and receive data.

    i have a proper data plan bis and everything i think it may be something to do with the apn
    UPDATE: Nothing to do with apn im going to phone o2
