I downloaded bbtweet from the app store, but I can't seem to get it to work. I went to the notifications section in my profile, set a sound for the notification in my messages, set up my username and password in the app, but it won't work. Any suggestions? I am using a curve 8330 on verizon.

"on" to tweeter account 40404.

I am not trying to retrieve sms messages. Bbtweet is supposed to deliver tweets without needing sms.

There is a problem in which tweeter can not reach your phone in a while, it stops sending the tweets. In order to get tweeter to see that your phone is on, you need to tell it, it is on.

It is not a sms problem. It is that verizon does not play well with tweeter and tweeter thinks your phone is off, so stops sending tweets.

You need to tell tweeter that your phone is on.
