I recently got a Torch and have noticed on my last bill that my data usage is way up. I hardly ever leave my house and WiFi is always on and working. I don't know why this is happening, but I'm trying to remember the name of an app I stumbled across a couple of weeks ago (should've saved it but I didn't). The app allows you to choose between using WiFi or data...not sure the rest of the specifics. Is anyone familiar with this? If so, pleeeaassseee reply!

    Thanks!

If your Torch is using WiFi, your home network name should appear next to AT&T, which my carrier.

Yes, my WiFi is enabled (and shows the name of the network) on my phone. I will check out Smart WiFi. Thanks!

The BB icon will follow the BEST connection where BIS/BES is seen. Not all apps work over wifi. Even though your device is on wifi, the app must support it. If it does not the cellular network will be used.
