I go into the free apps page on crackberry and does not gine me an option to download pandora. Did this several times. I even went into the apps download site and tells me that iit is not compatible with my device. What is wrong. I know others have pandora loaded on. Any help is appreciated.

Not to hi-jack the thread but I installed Pandora on my 8900 last night and when I try to set it up it always gives me this message:
"Unexpected network error occurred: Connection closed while retrieving station list."

I'm on AT&T, wondering if it is a problem with them???

It's not an AT&T problem. I have downloaded Pandora from the Blackberry App world. It worked fine. But the latest version of Pandora is not in the Blackberry App World. For the latest version, you need to go to Pandora Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio, Find New Music for version 1.1.0. At first, I could not get the newer version to work. I did change the firewall setting to disable and it worked with no problems. I think that the main difference of the newer version are more options and stereo.

I have both actually. Pandora installs fine on Bold but not on the 8900. I did a device manager switch when I got the curve. I think something got messed up along the way. I did a wipe on the 8900 and just started from scratch. All works well now. Thanks for the help.

I have longlines wireless for my 8900 and I can't download pandora. I have talked to other people with the same phone and carrier and they have it. Is there some setting to change in the phone?
