I'm running .607 with google maps 4.0.2. I've done a complete wipe twice but I still can't get google maps on my phone with out the annoying keyboard that does absolutely nothing. Can anony help me out with this or even a like to an older version of google maps

Try going to Options>Applications scroll to google maps and hit the BB button. Change disable/enable compatibility mode to which ever one it's not.

wow, you wasted your efforts by wiping the phone. Two issues that mess up people when they install google maps:

1. They've set their browser to the wrong ID.

2. They need to change the compatibility setting.

Number one is the number one cause of screw ups with downloading Google products.
