Battery pull.
While the phone is ON, pull out the battery. Leave batt out for 20 seconds then put it back in.
Possibly in the Downloads folder? Maybe the downloads folder is hidden?
already did the battery pull this morn.....and not in the downloads folder either checked there like 5 times lol
What app was it?
What was the app?
twitter for blackberry
Hmmm... I had it installed/working fine on my 9700. Are you sure you installed the correct version for your OS? That would explain the problem.
the one i was trying to download the one by rim, my friend sent me a link for it....is that the one u have?
I installed it from here forums.crackberry.com/f145/rim-twitter-app-leaked-420799/
Make sure you get the correct version and uninstall what you have now.
You want the "For OS 5.0.0:" one
Also, I uninstalled mine because I barely used Twitter. Just wanted to see what it's like.
yea, i barely use it also, jus wanted to cheack out somethin new, but thanks for the help much appreciated
A couple of app questions, thought I would ask here instead of starting a new thread.
1. Downloaded a few apps and they are now in the downloaded module. Try to open them there and it redirects me to the options/applications. When I try to open them there it just displays edit permissions. Did I do something wrong? I just want to adjust the settings on the apps.
2. How do you move a app icon from the download module to the home screen?
Thank you!
1. Are you saying you go to Downloads folder, click on the app's icon and then it redirects you to the options/applications screen??? That shouldn't happen. The app you installed should open and be ready to use. when you click on it.
2. If you want to move an app - Highlight it, press the Menu key and choose "Move To Folder". Then choose "Home".
Yes, that's exactly what happens. I guess maybe a uninstall/reinstall is in order?
Yes, you definitely need a reinstall. If it's just one app doing it...no biggie, it happens. But if a lot of apps are doing it, it could be a bigger problem.
Thank you very much!
NP.. glad to help out :)
