Just got a new BB torch 9800 on orange in the UK.

Everything else is fine, BBM, Browser, Texts, Emails.. even the integrated apps such as facebook and twitter are working fine.

When I try to download an app from the appstore such as crackberry or ubersocial, the error message comes up saying "...... is not available for download from blackberry app world."

Can anyone help me with this situation?

perhaps the apps you are trying to download are not available in your conutry, or are being blocked by your carrier....
