It's a pain in the a$$ and I just gave up with it. Honestly, if this thread gets some people who know how to do it, that would be pretty awesome and finally put that issue to rest.
I found it explained on the developer's forum but it wasn't for Canada specifically aaaaaaand I got lazy, resulting in me throwing the towel in on it.
i figured it out in the sense that i know "how" to do it. Buy What I need now is a good place to get radar images for Canada. Ones that "actually work". I found a few sites but they are not BerryWeather compatible.
Thanks all
Dennis

In Canada, radar maps are only available through Enviro Canada
or the Weather Office. Locations are based on the airport ID and location.
And they use rotating jpegs for online maps.
I think Malton is YYZ.
Too bad the Storm does not support flash... Intellicast has an awesome weather map.
Scroll down in the link the Lycafe just posted
problem solved , you sir, are a gentleman and, a scholar.
does my home city need to be the same as the map i use?

Sorry.. still need help...
Went to Env Cda site and URL for closest to Toronto is King City (at least doesn't show YYZ today)...
That URL is King City, Ontario - Radar Imagery - Environment Canada
Copied and pasted the URL into custom radar URL in BerryWeather and get error...
"Failed loading radar map. Check your BerryWeather transport settings..."
Regardless of what settings I change to, it doesn't work.
I haven't been able to get anything but errors when pasting URL's into custom radar settings.
>> nevermind... re-read post 145 in lycafe's link above... definitely works.. thx
