Can you have an app persistently play music while multitasking?

If the title was a bit confusing heres an explanation...

I want a PlayBook and I also love listening to music all the time, especially while working. I noticed when playing on a Playbook at futureshop that if I listen to a song on youtube and then switch over to another open program, the music from the internet app cuts out until I return to that app.

Is there anyway to prevent this? I really want to stream music to my Playbook (Orb perhaps or the di.fm app) but it would be really annoying to have the music cut in and out all the time.

Yep. This ought to be posted in the Playbook section instead of here.

I don't own a Playbook so I can't comment on your question though I would assume that it should in theory be able to play or stream music while you multitask. After all, it's supposed to be a multitasking device. However, If it were a Blackberry you were asking about, then I would say with absolute certainty that you can indeed play music while multitasking.
