a friend of mine takes alot of business calls on trains lately and wants to be able to have me, or whoever, listen is as well as a speakerphone on a train isnt a great idea

the listening person doesnt need to be able to speak, so its just incoming sound, it would make out lives alot easyer

actually, the listening person dosnet NEED to able to speak, but it its easy it would be usefull too

Once you plug something into the headphone jack, that overrides the internal speaker and microphone.

You might try a headphone splitter. This likely would not give you microphone use, however.
