They say this app works for the Storm so Iam thinking this will work for the Torch as well since the two probably share the same accelerometer. Can somebody verify this?

I dont have a Torch phone but I was just wondering as I do plan to get this phone in the future.

Look in BB App World or the CB App Store or wherever it is avilable to see if it is compatible with OS 6.

The app is $12.99 and has no free trial. Good luck getting someone to test that
    on the 9800.

It is not compatible with the 9800. Here's your answer.

Yes. That's the answer. You need a Storm.

I'm not saying that it does work.... but, the crackberry launcher isnt supposed to work with the 9800 either and it works fine on my phone...

it would be nice if someone that has actually tested it on their phone could report but as mentioned above... $12.99 is a lot for an app that does not work on your phone....

We have found that normally anything that works for the storm will work on the torch. Now I'm not saying this will work, but it should.

Anyone feel like shelling out 12.99$ to test it? I know I don't

OK folks here is the definitive answer. Yes, no and sort of. Stay with me
And no, I did not shell out $13 to test this

    The good:
The app will load and run on the Torch

    The bad:
It broke a few of my other apps (QL, PatternLock, CaptureIt), screws up
the menus (when pressing the BB key), does not respond to the trackpad (requires
    100% touchscreen.)

    The ugly:
On every restart there will be 7-8 uncaught exceptions and other
errors that have to be cleared before you can get to your homescreen.

Since I realize this is a "pics or it didn't happen" world, screenshots:
