Not sure of an app but here's the trick I use: call voice mail then open the camera and take the picture. Shutter noise goes through the handset. Not a perfect soultion but it works if you don't need to take shutterless noise pictures a lot

QuickLaunch should work. Works fine on the 9700.

QuickLaunch doesnt have that function on the 9800.
