    Just received the following email:

    Dear Lookout User,

We appreciate you being a Lookout customer and choosing us to protect your BlackBerry. As our business grows, we've had to make choices in terms of the devices we support and we are sorry to inform you that we will be phasing out our support for BlackBerry devices over the next three months.

During the next three months, you can continue to use Lookout on your BlackBerry. Your data will remain available in your Lookout account and can be accessed at www (dot) mylookout (dot)com. As of February 15, 2012, you will no longer be able to use the Locate features or back up new data, but we want to ensure as smooth a transition as possible. Our support team will be available to assist you in transitioning your data.

The BlackBerry app is no longer available for download on our site, if you need to download the app please contact us at support@mylookout.com.

If you purchase an Android smartphone or tablet, iPhone or iPad, Lookout can make it easy to transfer your contacts and photos to your new device. Feel free to contact our support team directly for help transferring your existing data to your new device.

Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to protect your mobile device we hope we can continue to be your choice for mobile security in the future.
