Does anyone know of a software that can OCR text from a picture taken from a business card and place that info into the address book?
A friend of mine has a sony ericsson p1i and it does it pretty good.

If you use outlook you could just sync your phone to your outlook contacts after scanning. I'm sure that it would be easier to find one for outlook. Other than that no idea.

I wondered about this too. My old VX9800 did this. That and the excellent voice dialing are the only things I miss about that phone.

We bought Welcome to CardScan: the best-selling business card readers on the market for a number of field reps and sales folks who needed it. It integrates with their Outlook and BB depending on what they have available to them locally.

You can also use CogniCard which does this, you can try it with a free trial at CogniCard - the Online Business Card Scanner

You just create an account there and don't even need to install anything on your BlackBerry, you can just send the pictures to your personal CogniCard email address.
