Can anyone please tell me if I will be able some day to download FB 1.6.22 on my Boostberry 8350i using OS 5.0.0.807? PLEASE...
Facebook v1.6 is not compatible with OS 5.0, as you have probably figured out. From what I have gathered it's either run 4.6 with FB or 5.0 without.
Luckily I have Social Scope so losing the FB app after upgrading OS wasn't a big deal.

Im going through this right now! I got my 8350i flashed but turns out my phone WAS on BES. FB v1.6.0.22 works but it is ridiculously slow and DOES NOT notify me bc there is no email registered with my bb bc I have BOOST. I have 5.0 os ...to make matters worse, NOW my phone doesn't allow me to compose MMS anymore...Im considering just doing another system installation but I dont know if my Boost capabilities will be lost.

I recently went back to using a Blackberry 8350i, installed v5.0.0.1051, and installed the famous "combined3.ipd" update. My question is regarding the official Twitter Blackberry app. Works great, but only when connected through Wi-Fi. If I try to use it normally (through Boost's data) it won't connect, all I get is:

"Could not find a service book entry for IPPP"

Can this be fixed to work without Wi-Fi, or do I have to use a different Twitter client? If anyone knows or has seen this, I would greatly appreciate the tip.

    Cheers,
    Matt
