Selection takes getting used to. But, I like it
I prefer the Opera Mini still. Maybe cause I've got used to it!

Selection is pretty tough and it won't open mobile sites for me, even when I type mobile in and select the mobile browsing option. Hard to get used to something new. Native Browser works for what I need. Waiting for WebKit.......
Not very impressed either. Waiting for webkit as well. We shall see.

Not as fast as opera mini and I think the native browser might even be a little quicker. Can't find any zoom feature as well. Also entering a web address seems a pain because you need to erase the previous page address you were on.
it is webkit according to the blog, but I definitely know what you mean. The only issue I have is selection as stated above.
If the darn cursor was not DIRECTLY under my thumb this would be so freaking good. :(
Only feature missing is zoom. Other than that its really very good. Fast rendering, nice tab functionality, until they implement some sort of zoom function though its going to be second best to opera.
I didn't care for the scrolling, couldn't figure out how to get the page to render within the margins in portrait (it worked in landscape), no zoom, no font size (so page is just too small for comfortable reading for me). Selection is difficult, and I couldn't make heads or tails out of why sometimes I would only need to touch the screen another others actually press the screen.
I don't care for it the way it is now. I'm still an Opera mini fan.
Dont like no zoom. It always gets stuck @ 20% while loading. This happens at least half the time. Waiting icon is always showing. New tab button is hard to click. No password manager. Opera mini ui is way more visually pleasing.
Opera mini here too, but FTR you can change most if not all of those issues in the preferences menu.

does not have a zoom functionality..... may be a setback for some..... but as far as speed is concerned it is real game. Cursor is lot more responsive than the opera mini 5 and it renders pages really fast
if you get the 20% lag, delete it from your phone and reboot. Install and reboot again. This may not work for everyone, but it sure fixed my issues and worked for some other people too.
If you are not on Wifi, disable it! It seems like it will still attempt to connect via Wifi if it is enabled in the option. My pages will hang forever until I disable Wifi.
Also, Socket connection. Great for loading consecutive pages. If you put Bolt in the background and attempt to use it, you will more than likely get the loading lag again. Either reload the page or completely close Bolt out and re-open. Socket connection just doesn't work for me once I put Bolt in the background and when I do actually use it, what are we talking... saving 1 sec per page? FOr ease of use, I stick to Http connection. It just works.
Hope that helps anyone...
Wrong thread.
Excuse me... I will get my coat.
I'm having huge trouble opening new tabs. For example, CB's WAP forum has the CB logo in the top right corner, with a link back to the main forum. Every time I tried to click the + to open a new tab, it would constantly take me back to the main forum. I'll stick with Opera. :)

Bolt Browser - Demo
Bolt has never had a proper touch screen interface. If it ever gets one I may try it again. Opera Mini 5 is excellent.

I don't like either browser. They are both seriously flawed. I will stick with the native browser.

I was able to watch youtube on bolt, and pages load quickly. But like others have said, bolt's interface simply isn't optimized for touchscreen, and it looks like if you want a different font, you have to load it. I wasn't happy with the default.
