i have linked my blackberry messenger contacts to my phonebook contacts. the 1st blackberry i owned updated the phonebook pics with any pics my bbm contacts had up. since i switched phones, the pics that the phonebook contact display is the one from the old phone, and it seems the pics done want to update.

my current phone is a torch 9810 running os 7.1

if i delete the pin from the phonebook info the pic stays
if i delete the pic with the pin in the info.... the pic wouldnt update

i really like it when the pics change.... n i would like it to start working again

Open BBM
Hit Menu button
Select "Options"
Scroll down to the bottom
Put a check mark in the "Replace BlackBerry Contact Pictures with BBM Pictures" box
