I was wondering if I would get charged extra for activating gps for certain apps or other navigators such as google maps. I know they charge extra for verizon navi but idk how the gps works on these other apps. I was using poynt and they were suggesting to turn on my gps, would I get charged?

Nope, definitely not. It will just drain the battery a little faster if you have gps on.
