Blackberry App World update icon - how to remove?

I guess there was some updates to Yahoo Football and Bloomberg which I was notified by this icon that looks like a circle with an arrow pointing down to the bottom left in the middle. There was also a red asterisk on the top right corner.

So I went into the app world and went into the Mr World area where it said there were updates to those two apps.

I ran them and wouldnt you know as I rebooted my battery ran out.

When I finally got it back up and charged the apps were updated (i tested by running them) but the icon is still on the front screen.

how to remove or did i not finish doing something?

Try going to your message folder, there should be messages saying those apps have an update, click on the messages and the icon will go away.

I had an actual app world update this morning, and now the store front shows the wrong currency. Any suggestions? Thanx.

Same thing wrong currency for me, weird.

Go to your message folder and just delete the message..works for me!!
