Hello Folks,
I am getting frustraded with something about the App World tool.

There are some application that are not free and I would like to go ahead and buy them since I do have a paypal account and have no issues at all to buy things outside of Brazil. I usually buy stuff from ebay or dealextreme sites.

What happens is that whenever I try to buy an application using App World it will block me saying that this feature is not available in Brazil.

Is there anyway I could configure the devide to by pass this country check and just rely on my paypal account anyway or this is something tight up with the mobile carrier I am connected and have the Blackberry data plan here in Brazil ?

Thanks in advance for those who are able to shed any light on that !

I share your pain.

Maybe when AppWorld 2.0 comes out RIM will finally deice people can buy apps in Brasil (and a heck loack of other places).

For now, try the CB store. You can pay using paypal there as well.

PayPal even has opened an office here in Brasil, so they now support/offer the same services they do in the US/Canada.

I see no point why they don't change this. I even attended a developer's webinar just so I could point this out!
