I got a notification for an upgrade for BB app world, downloaded it and rebooted and the app world icon is gone and seems to have been replaced with vcast apps. Is anyone else having this problem? I have not been able to find a solution. I've checked the application folder clicked show all and still nothing. I've also tried downloading it again and replacing the "exsisting" app world and it still doesn't show up.

had the same problem in mine but i saw a way to "back-track" in another topic.

Uninstall App World ...35, installed 1.1.0.33 and after:

backup your data, do a security wipe (only emails, Contacts, etc) and it should solve the problem... at least for me it worked!

If you're going to refer the OP to another thread, why not be helpful and refer him to the ORIGINAL thread instead of referring him to another thread where you slapped that original posters hand for posting a duplicate thread

Well, because I wanted him to read what ''wnm'' have written regarding his recommended solution for this issue .

Plus, if he was interested in having a look at the other threads I was talking about, he could just click on the posted links.

I'm sorry if that was a bit confusing or anything
