I"ve had BB APP WORLD on my phone for quite some time and one day it dissappeared. I've tried to redownload it numerous times, but the icon does not show up. It is in my phone under add-ons but still does not work. Has anyone else had this problem and how can I correct it?

If it's the new app world, 1.1.0.35 it's a known issue. Seems like RIM QA was asleep at the wheel or something. A wipe and restore fixes the issue for many, but I'm going to wait until the next version of app world is available to see if that fixes the problem. If not, then a wipe and restore it is.

The cb blog here stated that appworld 2.0 might available within the next few weeks. That's the closest thing to a release date that I could find.
